Aviva Stadium
Formerly known as Lansdowne Road, it was the oldest sports stadium in Europe and it reopened in 2010 as the Aviva Stadium. The annual international rugby union competition is back and three of the matches will be held in the Aviva Stadium.
For all those sports fans out there or big Irish supporters you can watch Ireland play Italy, Wales or Scotland.
The dates are as follows:
- 10/02/2018 – Ireland v Italy
- 24/02/2018 – Ireland v Wales
- 10/03/2018 – Ireland v Scotland

From Hotel 7 we recommend you walk to Tara Street Station and get the Dart to Lansdowne Train Station which will take a 15 – 20 minute train journey which will drop you right outside the Aviva Stadium. Alternatively, you can take the Dublin Bus either the number 1 or 4 which will take up to 20 minutes depending on traffic. From the bus stop it is only a 10-minute walk to the Aviva Stadium so be sure to give yourself plenty of time before a big match!
