General Hotel Information

What time is check-in?

Check-in is any time after 3pm on the day of arrival. We also offer an early check-in from 9am at €30 per room and from 12noon at €15 per room. Please note this will be depending on availability on the day of arrival.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is any time before 12pm on the day of departure. If you decide to extend your stay and enjoy an extra few hours in our hotel, simply let the front desk team know and they will be happy to assist you. Please note that there is an additional charge of €10 per hour after 12pm for late check-out which will depend on the availability on the day.

Does the hotel offer baggage storage?

Yes, we are more than happy to store your luggage at the reception free of charge before check-in or after check-out.

Does the hotel offer free WiFi?

Yes, we’re happy to provide our guests with complimentary WiFi throughout all public areas and bedrooms.

Is there a laundry service available?

Yes, we offer a laundry service at an extra charge.

What do I do if I accidentally left some items in the hotel?

You can call or email the hotel with information such as the item in questions, stay dates and room your room number so we can check our lost property for the item in question. If the lost property is found, you can collect the belongs or organise a courier to collect the items.

Are pets permitted in the hotel?

No, unfortunately, we don’t allow pets in the hotel, with the exception for guide dogs and service animals.

Is the hotel reception desk open 24 hours a day?

Yes, our front desk operates on a 24 hours basis.

What is the hotel’s smoking policy?

At Hotel7 Dublin, we operate a strictly non-smoking policy throughout the entire hotel. A deep cleaning fee will be charged to guests who are found to be in breach of our no smoking policy.

Is the hotel accessible?

Yes, we have elevators and accessible rooms if required.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, we sell gift vouchers. Please contact us for more information or to buy a gift voucher. You can also buy a gift voucher online.

Do you provide printing facilities for boarding passes?

Yes, guests can print their boarding passes at the reception.

Does the hotel offer currency exchange?

No, we don’t offer currency exchange at the hotel, however, we will be happy to direct you to the nearest facility.

Do you supply travel adapters?

Yes, we supply travel adapters, however, they are subject to availability and must be returned at the end of your stay.

Does the hotel have a gym or spa facilities on-site?

No, but we will be happy to direct you to the nearest facility.

 

Rooms & Amenities

What room types does the hotel offer?

Hotel7 Dublin boasts 51 comfortable rooms in total. Depending on your needs, guests can choose between seven different room types, including Double Rooms, Twin Rooms, Triple Rooms and Single Rooms. We also have 3 interconnecting rooms available if required.

Are there wheelchair accessible rooms available?

We have 3 wheelchair accessible rooms available with wide door frames, rails and emergency cord available in the bathroom.

Can I get a cot or camp bed in my room?

Yes, cots and camp beds are available upon request (subject to availability).

Are the hotel rooms air-conditioned?

Yes, all public areas and rooms in Hotel7 have air-conditioning available.

Do the bathrooms have a shower or a bath?

We have both options available upon request. If you have a preference, please let our reservations team know prior to your arrival.

Does the hotel offer wake-up calls?

Yes, we provide wake-up calls. Please speak to a member of the reception team to arrange.

What amenities are included in the room?

Our hotel rooms include a Nespresso machine, complimentary WiFi, Google Chrome Cast, luxury Rituals toiletries, power ionic hairdryer, bathrooms with walk-in rainfall shower, tea making facilities, safe with space for a laptop, steam iron and ironing board as well as USB sockets.

 

Dining

What dining options are available at the hotel?

We have a restaurant and bar on-site available.

Does the hotel offer breakfast?

Yes, we do offer breakfast with a selection of hot and cold items. It can be included in your booking or if you chose to pay on the day it is €14 per person.

Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am weekdays and from 8am to 11am weekends and Bank Holidays.

What are the opening times of the restaurant?

Lunch is served at our restaurant daily from 12pm to 5pm. Dinner is served daily from 5pm to 9.30pm.

Does the restaurant cater for food for allergies?

Yes, we do. Please let us know in advance if possible or inform your waiter if you have any special food requirements.

Does the restaurant offer a dedicated kid’s menu?

Yes, special kid’s menus are available.

Do you provide room service?

Yes, you can enjoy our delicious food in the comfort of your own room. You can order from our Click & Go menu on our Guest Service Platform and collect your food at the collection point in our restaurant at the requested time.

Is there a reservation for dinner required?

No, a reservation is not specifically required, however, you can email us at fb@hotel7dublin.com or call us on +353 (0)1 873 7777 for bookings to avoid disappointment on arrival.

Is there any entertainment available in the hotel?

No, but we do recommend the Belvedere Irish Nights though which is based directly across the road from Hotel7. You can book your tickets at Belvedere Irish Nights.

Do you cater for large groups? Can I book a private dining space for a special occasion?

Booking & Cancellation

What is iSave and how do I sign up?

When you book with iSave, you get a €10 discount for each night you stay with us. Please note that to avail of this discount you must be logged into your iSave account. You can join iSave in 3 simple steps on our website.

Can I claim back on the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme?

Yes, our hotel is registered for the Stay and Spend Tax Credit Scheme from 1 October 2020 to 30 April 2021. If you stay with us between 1st October 2020 and 30th April 2021, you can claim up to €125 under this scheme. See revenue.ie for more information and details.

What is the best way to make a reservation?

The best way to book is online on our website where you can easily see our best rates and what exclusive offers and packages are available. Alternatively, you can call us on +353 (0)1 873 7777 or email reservations@hotel7dublin.com. Please note that online discounts may not be available when booking via telephone or email.

What should I do if I haven’t received a booking confirmation?

If you have not received a confirmation after making a direct booking you can contact us directly at reservations@hotel7dublin.com and we’re happy to help you.

What payment methods does the hotel accept?

At Hotel7 Dublin, we accept all major credit cards and debit cards as well as cash and contactless payments.

What is the hotel’s credit/debit card policy?

A valid credit/debit card is required to secure all bookings made online or over the phone, unless in cases where this is otherwise stated. Please note that nothing is charged to the card at booking stage when booking directly with the hotel (with the exception of advance purchase offers or bookings that require a deposit. This will be clearly outlined in the special offer terms and conditions).

What age are children for the purpose of hotel packages?

Under 12’s are considered to be children.

How do I make a group or multiple room booking?

For group bookings, contact our groups department at groups@hotel7dublin.com.

Are there any age restrictions when booking a hotel room?

You must be 18 or older to guarantee the booking. All under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.

Can I show up at the hotel without a booking?

Yes, you can, however, we cannot guarantee a room as it will depend on the availability on the day.

Can I extend my stay?

Yes, depending on availability, we’ll be happy to accommodate you for further nights at an additional cost. Please contact our reception team at any stage during your stay and we will happily arrange the rest for you.

How can I amend or cancel my booking?

If the booking is made directly at the property you can contact us directly via phone +353 (0)1 873 7777 or email reservations@hotel7dublin.com. If a booking is made through a 3rd party booking agent, you must contact them directly.

What is the cancellation policy?

The cancellation varies depending on the booking you have made. Before booking, please read the terms and conditions of the cancellation policy you have chosen. Most of our bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the arrival date. If you chose the advance purchase option, the booking will not be refunded per terms and conditions.

What does the “no-show” policy entail?

If you do not successfully cancel your booking or don’t show up on your selected date of arrival, the booking will go through as a no-show and you will be charged the first night. If your booking is advance purchase, the total amount will be non-refundable.

How can I cancel my reservation if I booked via a third-party website?

All reservations made through third-party websites must be amended or cancelled directly with the third-party website as we cannot do that on your behalf. Please note that third party websites and online travel agents have their own cancellation policies, so please refer to your confirmation email.

 

Location & Parking

Where exactly is the hotel located in Dublin city centre?

We are located on 7 Gardiner Row, Rotunda, Dublin 1, which is a less than a 5-minute walk from O’ Connell Street (main shopping district) beside the Garden of Remembrance. Also, Temple Bar and the Grafton Street Area is just a 10-15 minutes’ walk from our hotel. Croke Park is about a 10-15 minutes’ walk from Hotel7 Dublin.

How far is the hotel from Dublin Airport?

We are a 25 to 35-minute drive from Dublin Airport.

We would recommend using the Airlink Bus which runs every 15-20 minutes from and to Dublin Airport. You can buy the tickets with the driver and it’s €7pp one way and €12 return. Alternatively, you can pre-book your tickets online. The airport bus stops on O’Connell Street which is a 2-minute walk away from the hotel.

Are there any shopping areas nearby?

Yes, we are based less than 2 minutes away from O’Connell Street which is one of the major shopping districts in Dublin.

How close are public transport links to the hotel?

As the hotel is located in Dublin city centre, we are within easy access to public transport on O’Connell Street such as bus and LUAS (tram system). We are also just a 10-minute walk from Connelly Train Station.

What is there to see and do around the hotel?

We are located in the heart of Dublin city centre, only a short walk to the Gate Theatre, the Garden of Remembrance, Croke Park and O’Connell Street. Hotel7 Dublin is surrounded by Ireland’s most historic buildings and most famous shopping streets!

Is there a car rental station near the hotel?

Yes, Sixt car hire is a 10-minute walk from our hotel.

Is parking available at the hotel?

Due to the very central location of our hotel, we do not have our own car park at the property. However, we recommend Q-Park the Spire which is approx. only a 5-minutes walk from the hotel. Our guests can avail of a discounted rate of €19 for 24 hours if you get your ticket validated at reception. Please note that this offer is only available if you’re not booking in advance.

LESS INFORMATION 

Hotel 7 is currently open to essential travel only in accordance with government guidelines.

Reasonable evidence confirming the stay is for essential travel must be provided on arrival, otherwise your booking will be cancelled.
